Description
Fonts.com Web Fonts is a Web font service from
Monotype Imaging. It is currently in beta with over 2,000 fonts which can be used free of charge. At the conclusion of the beta, all accounts will be converted to free accounts and the font selection will be expanded to more than 7,000. Among the available fonts are famous typefaces used in thousands of corporate designs, such as Helvetica, Frutiger and Univers. The fonts are served from a global server network and work in
all browsers supporting @font-face linking. The Web fonts are served as
EOT for Internet Explorer and as
TrueType fonts for all other browsers.
The system works similar to other webfont services. First, you start a new “project” for your website, then you assign fonts and selectors. You will get a line of JavaScript code to embed in your website. That's it!
